Hello

Dr. Dina
I'm

Dr. Dina

About me

I work integratively and in a trauma-informed way, with a focus on creating therapy that feels safe, collaborative and responsive to the individual. I believe meaningful change grows through relationships where people feel genuinely seen, understood and supported at their own pace. My work balances emotional depth with practical support, helping clients understand patterns, emotional responses and relationship dynamics, while also developing tools for emotional regulation, self-compassion and sustainable change.

I am interested in the connection between mind and body, and where helpful I incorporate body awareness into therapy to support trauma processing, emotional safety and a stronger sense of connection with yourself. I particularly enjoy working with addiction, trauma, neurodiversity, complex relational difficulties, anxiety, low self-esteem and emotional overwhelm.

What can clients expect when working with you?

I aim to create a calm, warm and non-judgemental space where you can feel safe enough to explore difficult experiences openly, while also feeling supported to reflect, grow and make meaningful changes. Clients often describe me as grounded, compassionate and present, and I bring curiosity, authenticity and emotional attunement into the therapeutic relationship.

Collaboration is central to how I work. I see you as the expert in your own life, and I value working together in a way that respects your pace, preferences and individual process. I can be gently challenging when needed, while always keeping an eye on what feels manageable, supportive and useful for you.

I also have extensive experience working online and pay close attention to creating connection, safety and therapeutic depth in virtual therapy, helping online sessions feel just as supportive, engaged and effective as face-to-face work.

What is unique about how you work with clients?

Alongside my clinical work, I bring experience from specialist ADHD and autism services, where I have worked closely with psychiatrists and multidisciplinary teams as part of diagnostic and assessment pathways. My background includes training in a range of assessment tools and contributing to broader diagnostic processes, giving me a strong understanding of neurodiversity and the importance of thoughtful, collaborative formulation.

My work has also been shaped by academic research in addiction and leadership experience within a psychiatry department. These experiences have strengthened a practice that is reflective, ethically grounded and attentive to complexity. My own journey into psychology informs how I work too, bringing humility, respect for each person’s process and a deep belief that therapy should be a space where people feel understood, empowered and able to create meaningful change.
