Hello

I'm
Cally
About me
I take an integrative, collaborative approach to therapy, shaped by strong person-centred values and a belief that there is no one-size-fits-all way of working. I aim to create a warm, open and accepting space where you can explore your experiences at your own pace, while also drawing on practical strategies and tools where these feel helpful. My work is grounded in curiosity, reflection and a strengths-based perspective when appropriate.
I particularly enjoy working with neurodivergent clients, including autistic people, people with ADHD and learning disabilities, as well as LGBTQIA+ clients and people from varied cultural backgrounds. I see therapy as a space where different identities, experiences and ways of being are respected, understood and affirmed.
What can clients expect when working with you?
Clients often describe me as warm, approachable and easy to talk to. I bring a genuine, informal style to therapy and aim to build a strong, trusting relationship where you can feel safe enough to be yourself. I am open-minded, non-judgemental and flexible, adapting the way I work to fit different needs, communication styles and personalities.
I value collaboration and believe therapy works best when it feels like something we build together. Humour can also have a place in the room when it feels appropriate. My priority is creating a supportive environment where you feel comfortable opening up, exploring difficult experiences and finding ways forward that feel meaningful to you.
What is unique about how you work with clients?
Living, studying and working in four different countries has given me a deep appreciation for cultural differences, varied ways of communicating and the many ways people make sense of themselves and their relationships. My practice is affirming of different identities, including LGBTQIA+ and neurodivergent experiences, and this forms an important part of how I work.
Alongside my professional background, I bring personal and professional experience of grief and bereavement, as well as lived experience of supporting family members with severe and enduring mental distress. These experiences have shaped my understanding of complexity, resilience and the importance of meeting people with compassion, flexibility and humanity.
